We recommend you stay as central as possible which means you can pretty much walk everywhere and not have to get taxi's. Below are some recommendations:
Accommodations
The bridal party will be staying at the Fuerte Marbella hotel. This is a lovely 4 star hotel on the beach and it has a swimming pool. It is within a few minutes walking distance from the church in the Old Town.

These apartments are on the beach and were refurbished in 2006. They are really close to the Fuerte Marbella Hotel
This is basic but very comfortable hotel which is located just at start of the Old Town, and really close to the beach too.
This is another basic but very reasonably priced and comfortable hotel which is located between the beach and the Old Town.
Airbnb gives you the option to rent an apartment in Marbella, for however long you are staying there. Just make sure that the person you are renting from has been previously rated before you book.
